Who Can Use the bSAFE bFIT! Program for kids
The bSAFE bFIT! Program for kids is designed to encourage a cooperative approach among persons dedicated to helping children develop healthy lifestyles. The fitness program offers five educational tools that can be easily adapted and implemented into schools, homes,preschools, daycares, after-school childcare, health agencies, and community organizations.
Schools. Administrators; classroom, physical education, health, and science teachers; instructors; counselors; school nurses; coaches; school food authority; school board members; students, etc.
School Wellness Policy. The Local Wellness Policy (42 U.S.C. 1751-Sec. 204. Local Wellness Policy) was signed into law, making it mandatory for school districts to create a local policy that addresses physical activity and nutrition education by June, 2006. The bSAFE, bFIT! Program for kids is a perfect fit for the Local Wellness Coordinator and panel members in search of such a program because of bSAFE bFIT!'s exclusive focus on physical activity and nutrition education.
Homes. Parents, children, and extended family members can use the program right in their homes!
