Assessments

There are many types of assessments as a means of gathering evidence about a child's level of achievement in a specified task. Assessment reinforces standards and informs instructors about children's progress. Ways to assess student learning could include self-evaluation, scoring rubrics, observation checklists, component checklists, anecdotal record sheets, student logs, written tests, and child journals. More detailed information is included in the Appendix section of the the bSAFE bFIT! Manual with Lesson Plans.
