USDA MyPyramid for kids
The major reference for nutritional education is from the USDA MyPyramid.gov website. The newly designed USDA MyPyramid for kids appears on the Body Composition poster. The Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, an organization of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, was established to improve the nutrition and well-being of Americans. One of the products to support their objective is the new MyPyramid food guidance system, which replaced the Food Guide Pyramid in 2005 (USDA, 2005)
